Worth the extra money

For starters, I have a large head so its difficult to find things for my head that aren't too tight. I'd said it's a good fit being that it kept the moisture out without leaving a mark on my forehead. The inside is plasticky so I wrapped my hair in a satin scarf, also by kitsch, first. I think that the plastic could potentially rough up the cuticle or cause breakage without the stain. It also seems to be a good additional barrier for the humidity. In the past I've used the dry bar brand shower cap which is lined with terry cloth. It leaves a mark on my forehead, the back under part of my hair seems to get a bit damp despite avoiding the flow of water, and my hair never looks good after I take it off. Once, my boyfriend was coming into to town and I went to the salon just to have my hair styled before he arrived, took a shower with the dry bar shower cap and my hair was RUINED. This is the first time I've used a shower cap and my hair looked exactly the same as it did before I went into the shower. I do absolutely think that wrapping my hair with satin was part of my success because I didnt have to tie my hair up in a pony or bun and so the wave pattern wasn't interfered with. Plus I like that I dont look so stupid wearing it when I'm staying over at my boyfriend's house. I wouldn't call it sexy, by any means, but I dont feel nearly as silly walking out of the shower. I also appreciate the storage bag as someone who travels often.

Cute, but...

It’s a bit expensive but it does what it says - hair is dry.
