While I had high hopes... this item failed to last the day! I applied the product as directed with limited results. I tussled my hair in hopes of distributing accordingly. I waited for 3 - 5 minutes, then brushed with a multi-bristle brush (intended for dispersing dry shampoo). My hair was better, not great... however, it didn't even last through a teacher's day of 7 hours. I was a greasy mess! To the point that I felt too inappropriate to leave the house for a dinner out with my teenagers! I need to go back to the cheaper, more effective aerosol dry shampoo.

This dry shampoo is different...it's really, really fine-grained, and it's dispensed using a pump bottle. It doesn't clump and leave a white residue like the spray-on types do. And it comes in two shades. You literally pump it on, massage it into your hair, and then brush it through. Voilà! You're ready to go. It doesn't have a heavy odor either. It's small enough to pack for travel as well. Kitsch really thought this one through...Bravo!

This dry shampoo is great! It’s a non-aerosol dry shampoo, and uses a little mechanical pump to release the powder. The instructions say ‘a little goes a long way’ and they are accurate! Pushing the pump down once all the way releases a LOT of the powder in one area, so I recommend pressing slightly down with “micro-pumps” so you can distribute a small amount of the powder to each area of roots you are targeting. As the instructions state, I massaged the powder into my roots with my fingers, so I could feel the powder absorb the grease, and when I was good, then I lightly brushed my hair/roots to make it look nice. The volume was pretty good and was fairly noticeable with the top layers of hair. Since I don’t wash my curly hair everyday, especially during the winter, this product was good to refresh my hair/roots in between washes. I was able to use this 2 days back to back before feeling like my hair was too dry and needed an actual wash, but you may be able to go 3 days back to back of use, depending on the season/weather and how dry or oily your hair is during that time of year. I’m in an area currently experiencing colder temperatures, strong winds, little humidity and fires at the moment, so my hair is not getting very greasy compared the summer when it’s hot and sweaty. Dry shampoos in general are often white powder and make hair look lighter, in the areas it was distributed.
