This powdered dry shampoo is so great. I’ve never really been a dry shampoo user in the past because I have very fine textured hair and dry shampoo always weighed it down, but Kitsch’s powdered dry shampoo does not do that at all! It actually adds a little volume to my hair and I can go 3-4 days without a regular shampoo with this dry shampoo. The dark tint is perfect for dark hair and I like how great it looks after brushing. A little product goes a long way, so it's best to focus on greasy areas and avoid over applying, as blending too much can be challenging and leave a powdery residue. The inclusion of rice protein is a standout feature, as it promotes scalp health while adding volume, which is a welcome benefit for those with flat hair. I also appreciate Kitsch’s attention to healthy ingredients, but I’d love to see larger product sizes in the future. This dry shampoo is great! It’s a non-aerosol dry shampoo, and uses a little mechanical pump to release the powder. The instructions say ‘a little goes a long way’ and they are accurate! Pushing the pump down once all the way releases a LOT of the powder in one area, so I recommend pressing slightly down with “micro-pumps” so you can distribute a small amount of the powder to each area of roots you are targeting. As the instructions state, I massaged the powder into my roots with my fingers, so I could feel the powder absorb the grease, and when I was good, then I lightly brushed my hair/roots to make it look nice. The volume was pretty good and was fairly noticeable with the top layers of hair. Since I don’t wash my curly hair everyday, especially during the winter, this product was good to refresh my hair/roots in between washes. I was able to use this 2 days back to back before feeling like my hair was too dry and needed an actual wash, but you may be able to go 3 days back to back of use, depending on the season/weather and how dry or oily your hair is during that time of year. I’m in an area currently experiencing colder temperatures, strong winds, little humidity and fires at the moment, so my hair is not getting very greasy compared the summer when it’s hot and sweaty. Dry shampoos in general are often white powder and make hair look lighter, in the areas it was distributed. This one won’t leave patches of noticeable powder if you rub it in appropriately, and blends in…
